Well done Madam Min, you are going to do those lads proud. Man lives but a few hours, a good name liveth forever more. They all had a connection to Aspull or immediate vicinity, and their people never wanted them to be forgotten, and now their names will be launched on the internet for all to see and reflect upon how a small village gave so many. Lest We Forget.
Like the old photos at Our Ladys, and the photos of my dad Albert Caine at school.
Well heres to all in Aspul

Am presently researching my family history and accessed your informative site for more info on Aspull and district. My Grandparents kept "The Queens Head Hotel" in the 20's & 30's and my Aunt & Uncle until late 50's. My mother was Elsie Humphreys an born at Lindsay Terrace. If anyone can remember my family would be pleased to hear from them.

Born and bred in Aspull with Gerrard ancestors. Attended St. Elizabeth's School, Bolton Road, and married in St.Elizabeth's Church, Aspull. Grandfather Gerrard was the village Clogger. Enjoyed the site, but more on Aspull please.
